Nikon P600 Image Gallery

I just got the P600 in for review the other day and I wanted to fire off a few shots so you guys can see what it can do straight out of the box. I shot all of these images on auto mode. They were taken at various focal lengths from 24mm to 1440mm.

I was pleasantly surprised. The camera performs better than I expected. The images are sharper than I expected–especially at super telephoto. The only negative thing I noticed right away was the parallax that occurs at the super telephoto length. That being said, this is to be expected with ultrazoom cameras. If you are new to ultrazooms, however, this can really throw you off.

The camera offers quite a few user inputs like manual mode, creative effects and scene recognition. The battery charges in-camera and is claims to deliver about 330 shots per charge. The camera is Wi-Fi compatible and records Full HD video at 1080p.

We will be doing a full review of the camera in the next couple of weeks. Until then, here are some sample images. Check them out and let us know what you think.

The next two were taken standing in the same spot.

Telephoto 1440mm

Can you see the alpacas in the first image? This is a pretty impressive zoom. The second image is a little soft, but at this focal length the camera did an impressive job!
