Are you interesting in entering your photos in a county fair, and want tips to make an outstanding entry?
Learn from open and youth division judges how to take amazing photos and prepare them for exhibiting during a workshop from 10 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. on Sunday, April 13, at the Linn County Fair & Expo Center.
This free workshop is sponsored by OSU Extension — Linn County 4-H.
Classes are limited to give each participant lots of hands-on attention.
For more information contact Sue at 541-451-1460. The registration form is at: http://extension.oregonstate.edu/linn/sites/default/files/photography_clinic_2014.pdf.
The goal is to help photographers learn more about common photography subjects.
The workshop topics are: camera to subject distance, action photography and composition.
All are important topics taught by local photographers and area experts.
Participants will be going to all three workshops in a round robin format. There will also be 14 displays with examples located in the hallway (with handouts).
Display subjects include: people, lighting, flowers, animals, macro/close up and quite a more.
Viewing time as also been included in the schedule. The planning committee and instructors hope many budding 4-H photographers will plan to attend.
