ANNA — The Shawnee Arts Council will host a “Strictly Digital” photography exhibition and competition from June 13 through June 29 in the Anna Arts Center.The competition welcomes amateurs, advanced and professional photographers. All entries will be exhibited and juried for awards only. Juror for the competition is Charles Swedlund, Professor Emeritus, Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.Only digital photography, the creation of the entrant, will be accepted and images must be 8×10 inches. A $20 entry fee entitles three entries, $25 admits four entries. Awards include $150 for first, $100 for second and $75 for third. Additional merit ribbons may be awarded at the discretion of the juror. Sales will be encouraged with a 20 percent commission to the Shawnee Arts Council.Entrant should deliver their work to the arts center from 4 to 5 p.m. June 6 and 7 or from 9 a.m. to noon June 9 and 10. Exhibition dates will be between June 13 through June 29.
