We took the Olympus 75mm f1.8 lens to the swamps of New Orleans and out to the zoo. Paired with the Olympus OM-D E-M10, this lens delivers fantastic image quality on a consistent basis. As a follow up to our original Olympus 75mm lens review, this image gallery shows how well it performs with the new OM-D E-M10.
Portraits and Skin Tones
Samples below show natural skin tones and an overall soft feel for portrait photographers. Each of the subject’s eyes are sharp and clear.
Color Quality
These samples show great color rendition.
Low Lighting/Poor Lighting
Even in low or poor lighting the images look great and color retains a normal feel.
Animals
Who doesn’t love great animal pictures from the zoo, the swamp or the back yard?
As I stated in the original review, this lens is king and I love using it. The Olympus 75mm f1.8 lens can be purchased for $900.
