I have broken this image gallery up into two sections: unedited images (which is what I always show for reviews and image galleries) and retouched images (this is very uncommon for me). I chose to do it this way to show the professionalism of this lens. Although the lens is way smaller and less robust than the 12-40mm f2.8 and the 75mm f1.8 lenses, it packs a powerful punch. This lens is one of my workhorse lenses. It sees a lot of actuations and continuously renders great clarity and consistent results.
Unedited Images
These images have seen no retouching–not even a simple crop. You are seeing the true nature and potential of this lens.
Retouched Images
Images in this section have been retouched. Although my retouching is light and generally limited to exposure adjustments, white balancing, vignetting, and slight cropping, these images are not the original files. They have been edited for both personal and professional use.
The set below was shot with the Olympus 45mm f1.8 lens and retouched for a one year old portrait session I photographed. Although the session was for the little boy, I couldn’t help but grab some fun ones of his sister.
The Olympus M.Zuiko 45mm f1.8 lens is available for $400.
