President of the club Wanda Amos opened the meeting with her stunning video about her trip to Africa in 2013, which included Victoria Falls, Chobe National Park in Botswana and Namibia in South West Africa.The set subject judge was Kerry Boytell, who has judged national and international competitions in Australia for many years. Kerry has won many awards, nationals and international, and is president of the North Sydney Leagues Photographic Society. She is especially keen on nature photography. The open subject judge was Janie News, who enjoys all categories, particularly local landscapes and portraiture. Janie has won national and international medals, including Judge’s Choice in Tropical USA and Best of Show in Georgia. She is a past president of Central Coast Leagues Club Camera Club and currently belongs to Mosman Camera Club. Recently she published an e-book ‘Art of Your Mind’ about using Photoshop for creative images. FIRE HEAT: The A-grade winning photograph in the open section by Paul Bennie.
