Solano libraries to display winning photographs from teen contest

Celebrate Teen Tech Week and Solano County Library’s 100th Anniversary.

Teen Tech Week is when libraries showcase digital resources and services for teens. Solano County Library celebrates Teen Tech Week with a digital photo contest.

This year, the theme was “From the Written Page to the Digital Age,” in celebration of Solano County Library’s 100th anniversary.

Sixty teens from all over Solano County submitted 303 photos to the Teen Digital Photography Contest. The contest ran from January 23 to March 3.

Photographers from The Reporter, The Times-Herald in Vallejo and the Fairfield Daily Republic selected winners for each category.

The grand-prize winner will receive a digital photo frame to keep.
