Delaware Valley students featured at photo gallery

MILFORD — The Highlands Photography Guild will host an exhibit by the students of Delaware Valley High School. This has become an annual event for the students and the photo gallery since 2009. The exhibit will open on Saturday, March 8 and will continue through April 6 with the opening reception on Saturday, March 8 from 6 to 9 p.m. when the students will be available to talk with visitors about their work.

The Delaware Valley High School community brings together students from the towns of Matamoras, Shohola, Milford and Dingmans Ferry. Within the Art Department, students can choose among 15 art course electives including Digital Photography taught within the Computer Graphics classes. The exhibit will also feature work by members of the school’s Digital Photo Club. This exhibit includes a variety of subject matter in color and black and white. The public is invited to view life through the eyes of today’s teenager.

The Highlands Photographic Guild at 224 Broad Street (Wells Fargo Bank Building) is open Friday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (until 5 p.m. on Sunday).
